FRIENDS AT HOME - You and a partner create a special bond with a kid by visiting them once a week for an hour or two at their home home or arranged location.SUNDAY CIRCLE - First Sunday of every month. Play, laugh and interact with the kids, ages 2-7, under organized activities. Meets in Studio City.HOLIDAY PROGRAMS - Celebrate major holidays with the Valley Friendship Circle familiesTWEEN MUSIC CIRCLESYMPHONY CIRCLE- A monthly program that teaches Judaic content through song, interactive musical activity and crafts as well as a variety of musical instruments. Ages 6-16.

As a volunteer of the Valley Friendship Circle:

I will treat others with honor and respect because we are all created in the image of G‑d.I agree to keep all personal information related to VFC families and volunteers confidential.I will never go to a Friends@Home visit without my partner.I will never go with the child without their parent or gaurdian present.I agree to act responsibly when spending time with the child I am matched with.I will only use my cell phone in case of emergency during Friends@Home visits.I understand that it is my responsibility to immediately report to a VFC Staff if someone gets hurt while I am volunteering.If I am not able to volunteer during my scheduled visit, I will notify the parents of my special friend at least 48 hours in advance.I understand that once I commit to attend an event, the Valley Friendship Circle staff and special friends are relying on me to be there. I agree to attend and give it my best effort. If I cannot attend, I agree to notify a VFC staff, at least 48 hours in advance.I understand that I can turn to any VFC staff with any questions or concerns about my Friends@Home visits.I agree to represent the Valley Friendship Circle to the best of my abilities.I agree to volunteer for Valley Friendship Circle. I grant VFC permission to use my name, image, likeness, or recording in connection with any promotional materials including, but not limited to, brochures, advertising, and broadcasts. I understand that participation in this activity is entirely voluntary and requires participants to abide by applicable rules and standards of conduct as set forth in the above, as it may be modified from time to time.I release the VFC and its employees, directors, officers and volunteers as well as all other organizations associated with VFC from any and all claims or liability arising out of this participation.
